Acoustical Wall Panels Weren’t Enough, So We Got Some Timber Cladding Too

My husband and I made a decision recently to add acoustical wall panels to our house. We live very close to a terribly noisy factory, and we just couldn’t stand Melamine Foam it anymore. The men we hired to install the panels were so skilled, that I thought it might be a great time to go ahead and add in the timber cladding wall we were planning. My husband agreed, so we asked the workers if they would be interested in some additional work. They were very excited to do the the external timber-cladding job, and the deal was made.

These men did a very good job on everything. They were quickly finished with the acoustical wall panels, and they started in right away with the external timber-cladding. The timbercladding wall ended up looking so nice, that I decided we might want to add something similar to our vacation home, and hire these men to do that job as well. This external timber cladding insulation is what allows the acoustic wall panels to block out more sound and keep in more of the heat of the home.

Our vacation home is way too close to this loud little road. It’s a stunning location, with lots of natural beauty, but some acoustical wall panels would definitely help. We’re going to hire this crew to add some panels there too, and while they’re at it, we will also be adding a timbercladding wall to the vacation home.
